Two series of nano-sized N-containing MOx–ZnO (M: Fe, W) composite powders were synthesized by spray pyrolysis. The nitrogen content was controlled from 500 to 2100 ppm by changing the powder ingredients and spray pyrolysis temperature. Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectra indicated that the N-containing MOx–ZnO powders absorbed not only ultraviolet light (λ<387 nm) like pure ZnO powder, but also part of visible light (λ<650 nm). Acetaldehyde decomposition was used as a probe reaction to evaluate the photocatalysis of these composite powders. The photocatalytic activity of the N-containing ZnO powder was pronouncedly enhanced by the WO3 addition under both UV and visible-light irradiation. However, that of the N-containing ZnO powder was suppressed by the Fe2O3 addition. A model of the semiconductor energy-band structure is proposed to explain the enhancement and suppression of photocatalytic activity.  相似文献

Jäntti introduced a method to calculate the adsorption equilibrium by measuring the actual adsorbed amount three times after a change to the gas pressure. By this method the experimental time for adsorption measurement can be considerably shortened. The procedure was developed for use in adsorption measurements where the adsorbed masses are directly measured with a balance. Adsorption of erythrosin-B (EB) and fast green (FG) to a non-charged organosmectite based on crystal violet adsorbed up to 100% of the cation exchange capacity (CEC) was tested. Adsorption isotherms of EB and FG were prepared at 3, 24 and 50°C. All isotherms are of H-type reaching loads of approximately up to 20% of the original CEC of the crude montmorillonite (up to 0.15 and 0.10 mol dye kg–1 clay for EB and FG, respectively). Adsorption decreases with temperature, indicating an exothermic process. Enthalpy was evaluated using van’t Hoff equation, yielding approximately –20 kJ mol–1 for both dyes.  相似文献

This paper deals with models describing the thermal and chemical behaviour of solid particles undergoing fast endothermic reactions under the influence of an external heat flux. The heat source temperature is supposed to be constant, to increase with time, or to deliver a simple thermal flash. It is shown that the pyrolysis conditions (reaction temperature, conversion, etc.) depend on the chemical characteristics of the reaction and also to a large extent on the external heating conditions. Relationships are proposed to take into account these parameters. The results are applied to the thermal decomposition of NaHCO3. The pyrolysis of cellulose is finally chosen in order to show how these operating parameters can also affect the selectivity of a more complex reaction.  相似文献

Summary Taking into account the problems of desertification and agricultural practices able to provide income to the population at the semi-arid region of North-East Brazil, this work presents the results of the chemical and thermal characterization by TG and DSC of the seed derivatives of Cnidoscolus quercifolius, hereinafter called faveleira, aiming at the application of these materials as an alternative of food source for animals and for the human population at this region. The faveleira seed derivatives present thermodynamic properties similar to the ones of other foods utilized for human use, as well as an acceptable calorific value. According to TG and DSC results, was verified that the faveleira derivatives presents good thermal and oxidative stabilities.  相似文献

本文回顾了生物质快速热解液化技术的国内外研究现状,重点叙述了初级生物油的化学组成和燃料性质,指出生物油是一种复杂的含氧有机混合物,具有水分含量高、氧含量高、热值低、酸含量高、安定性差和化石燃油不互溶等独特的性质;针对这些性质,介绍了几种常用的生物油精制提炼方法,包括催化裂解、催化加氢、高温热解气过滤、添加助剂、催化酯化、柴油乳化以及制备富氢合成气与费托合成,并分析了各种精制技术发展的关键问题。  相似文献
